Abstract
We demonstrate an ultraviolet (UV) 330Â nm laser from second-harmonic generation (SHG) of an all-solid-state Nd:YLF red laser in a CsB3O5 (CBO) crystal for the first time, to our best knowledge. Under an input power of 4.8Â W at 660Â nm, a maximum average output power of 330Â nm laser was obtained to be 1.28Â W, corresponding to a frequency conversion efficiency of about 26.7%.
