Abstract
Synthesis, spectral-luminescence properties of the zinc(II)-dipyrrinates containing one or two I- and Br-atoms at the pyrrole rings are described. We have studied the changes of the spectral-luminescent properties of zinc(II) complexes with iodo- and bromosubstituted 2,2â²-dipyrrines depending on the characteristics of their molecular structure and properties of the medium. The results obtained provide the potential use of halogenated zinc(II)-dipyrrinates in developing fluorescent dyes for engineering and medical applications.
