Abstract
Undoped and Ti-doped sapphires crystals were grown under stationary stable regime. The effect of growth parameters on the formation of color center is evaluated by absorption and luminescence measurements. The grown crystals with pulling rate less than 5Â mm/h presents less F+ center, therefore demonstrates a better crystal quality.
