Abstract
⺠Terbium luminescence from crystalline AlN and amorphous SiC is analogous. ⺠At low dopant concentrations the intensity increases with concentration. ⺠At high concentrations the intensity decreases drastically with concentration. ⺠This quenching is independent of both structure and chemical nature of the matrix.
