Abstract
⺠We considered a spherical QD which is located at the center of a nano-wire. ⺠The finite element method has been used to solve Schrodinger equation. ⺠The optical parameters have been calculated by means of the compact density matrix approach. ⺠We found that the nonlinear term of ACs and RI index changes have to be taken into account. ⺠By increasing the dot radius both blue and red shifts appear in the absorption coefficient.
