Abstract
⺠Ce3+-doped Ba9Sc2Si6O24 phosphors with a charge-compensating Na+ were prepared. ⺠Ba9Sc2Si6O24:Ce3+,Na+ has two luminescent centers. ⺠Energy transfer from Ce3+(1) to Ce3+(2) were confirmed.
