Abstract
⺠Dy3+ activated pyrophosphate based phosphor prepared by modified solid state diffusion. ⺠PL emission spectrum of Dy3+ ion under 351 nm excitation (Hg-free). ⺠PL emission at 485 nm (blue), 575 nm (yellow) emission. ⺠K2MgP2O7: Dy3+ is expected to be a potential candidate for application in n-UV white LEDs and solid state lighting.
