Abstract
⺠Pure and copper doped CdO have been synthesized by a facile sol-gel route at fixed speed 1200 rpm. ⺠Structural properties of pure and doped CdO were studied in details. ⺠Transmittance in UV-vis and IR spectra were investigated. Optical band gaps were determined. ⺠Atomic force microscope surface morphology has been analyzed and grain sizes and height were determined. ⺠Room temperature resistance was measured. Pure and copper doped CdO photoluminescence has been achieved at ambient. Electrical measurement was complemented by Hall effect measurement in the aim to re-evaluate the resistivity and the carrier mobility.
