Abstract
► Sm3+-doped lead fluorophosphate glasses have been prepared and analyzed. ► Raman, optical, luminescence spectra and decay rate measurements have been studied. ► The non-exponential decay rates revealed dipole-dipole mechanism. ► PbFPSm glasses can be used in the development of lasers and photonic devices.
