Abstract
► First report on the electronic structure of Li6Y(BO3)3. ► First measurement of the VUV spectra of Li6Y(BO3)3:Tb3+. ► Concentration and temperature dependence of PL are investigated. ► The new phosphor may be a suitable green-emitting component for WLEDs.
