Abstract
⺠New results on Cu+ emission in RbCaCl3 are reported. ⺠Blue emission excited by 254 nm is observed. ⺠Spectra are explained on the basis of 3dl0 <â3d94s transitions. ⺠Efficient Yb2+-Mn2+ energy transfer observed. ⺠White emission with excitation band at 382 nm is observed for RbCaCl3:Yb2+, Mn2+.
