Abstract
⺠Broadband excitable and strong yellow-emitting Ca2BO3Cl: Eu2+ phosphor is obtained by solid state reaction. ⺠Concentration quenching mechanism of Ca2BO3Cl: Eu2+ is dipole-dipole interaction. ⺠Quenching temperature (T1/2) of Ca2BO3Cl: Eu2+ is at 200 °C. ⺠As synthesized material can be used for LED phosphor application.
