Abstract
⺠Optical and luminescence measurements were carried out on Ni2+ doped silver halide crystals. ⺠Configurational coordinates of the ground and the first excited state were calculated. ⺠Optical properties of Ni2+ doped silver halide crystals can be obtained from the configurational coordinate diagram. ⺠No emission signal was found above 220 K.
