Abstract
⺠Single silicon nanocrystals are detected via confocal microscopy. ⺠Photoluminescence energies fluctuate strongly in time. ⺠Spectral fluctuation is described in the form of spectral diffusion. ⺠Dynamic processes are strongly controlled by electron-phonon coupling.
