Abstract
⺠The effects of hydrostatic pressure and spin-orbit coupling are investigated for quantum ring. ⺠The non-linear absorption coefficient is calculated. ⺠The hydrostatic pressure leads to the decrease in the absorption coefficient. ⺠Spin-orbit coupling weakens some transitions and strengthens others.
