Abstract

âº The effects of hydrostatic pressure and spin-orbit coupling are investigated for quantum ring. âº The non-linear absorption coefficient is calculated. âº The hydrostatic pressure leads to the decrease in the absorption coefficient. âº Spin-orbit coupling weakens some transitions and strengthens others.
