Abstract
⺠The effect of (SiN)+ addition on optical properties of BaAl2O4:Eu phosphors is studied. ⺠(SiN)+ addition results in shortening of lattice parameters and cell volume decreases. ⺠The peak emission wavelength red shifts with increase in (SiN)+ addition. ⺠Nitrogen is being incorporated in to host lattice even after phase segregation.
