Abstract
⺠2-((1,4-dihydroxy)-9,10-anthraquinone)aldehyde thiosemicarbazone (DHAQTS) was synthesized. ⺠DHAQTS can quench the fluorescence of human serum albumin (HSA) by static quenching mechanism. ⺠Hydrophobic interactions were the predominant intermolecular forces. ⺠The competitive experiment was carried out to identify the DHAQTS binding site on HSA. ⺠Three-dimensional spectra confirmed DHAQTS caused the conformational change of HSA.
