Abstract
⺠Magnetron sputtered Al-doped ZnO thin films as white luminescent materials. ⺠Rapid annealing under argon results in both partial oxidation and crystallization. ⺠Under 550 °C, oxidation improves the green-orange photoemission. ⺠Above 750 °C, crystallization improves the overall photoluminescence signal. ⺠Both near-UV and green-orange emissions contribute to the white luminescence.
