Abstract
⺠A new phosphor in the Cl-F system doped with Dy, Ce and Eu is reported. ⺠Na6(SO4)2FCl:Dy Ce and Eu prepared by the ssd method have been studied for its PL and TL. ⺠The emission of Eu ion in this compound exhibits the blue as well as red emission. ⺠Trapping parameters such as (b), (E) and (s) were calculated. ⺠It should be suitable as a phosphor in dosimetry of ionizing radiations and TLD material.
