Abstract
⺠We reported the NIR persistent luminescence in β-Ga2O3:Cr3+ nanowire assemblies. ⺠Phosphor exhibits more than 4 h persistent luminescence after UV irradiation. ⺠Trap structure and persistent luminescence mechanism of the phosphor were studied. ⺠β-Ga2O3:Cr3+ nanowires may find applications in security and bio-imaging.
