⺠Synthesis of thiol capped CdS quantum dots (QDs) in DMF and isolated as powders. ⺠Effect of concentration of reactants on the size of the thiol capped CdS QDs. ⺠Optical properties of thiol capped CdS QD powders dispersed in DMF. ⺠Higher concentration of capping reduces the surface defects. ⺠Higher PL quantum yield of thiol capped CdS QD powders dispersed in DMF.
