Abstract
⺠Phosphorescent Ir(I) complexes with fluorine atoms are synthesized. ⺠Electronic and photophysical characters are investigated. ⺠The relationship between fluorine atom and emissive nature is studied. ⺠Fluorine atoms can improve emissive characters and thermal stability. ⺠Excess fluorine atoms compromise emissive parameters.
