Abstract
⺠Sm complex with Ag nanoparticles in PVA was prepared at room temperature. ⺠UV-vis absorption and XRD confirms the presence of Sm complex and Ag NPs. ⺠Enhancement in luminescence of complex was observed with Ag NPs. ⺠Coupling between radiative transitions of Sm and SPR of NPs enhances the emission. ⺠The higher concentration of Ag NPs quenches the luminescence of the complex.
