Abstract
⺠ZnS:Mn phosphors were utilized as triboluminescent emitters in unreinforced vinyl ester resins. Concentrated samples were cast for flexural mechanical testing. ⺠Luminescence varied linearly with increased concentration. ⺠Sample mechanical specific properties decreased with filler concentration. ⺠Luminescence is observed at fracture of specimen with phosphors under mechanical failure at micron scale.
