Abstract
⺠The emission is a symmetrical band at 495 nm in Ba4Al2O7: Eu2+ phosphor. ⺠Ba4Al2O7:Dy3+ phosphors show efficient blue and yellow band emissions. ⺠Eu2+ and Dy3+ activated Ba4Al2O7 phosphor could find application in solid state lighting.
