Abstract
⺠Highly luminescent AgInS2 nanocrystals with chalcopyrite structure are synthesized. ⺠Photoluminescence quantum yield exceeds 40%. ⺠Photoluminescence mechanisms are ascribed to electron-hole pair recombination with donor-acceptor pair-like mechanisms. ⺠Donor and acceptor states originate from the internal defects.
