Abstract
⺠We investigated coherent phonon dynamics in single-walled carbon nanotubes by 7.1-fs laser. ⺠Vibrational wave-packets corresponding to the RBM and G mode can be detected. ⺠Resonance conditions and mode frequencies lead to exact chirality assignments. ⺠Both real and imaginary parts of the third order susceptibility contribute to the result.
