Abstract
⺠Er-doped YAP and LSO crystals are analyzed using the Judd-Ofelt method. ⺠Near-infrared transition channels of Er ions in YAP and LSO crystals are verified. ⺠Processes and dynamics are discussed and compared with each other. ⺠â¼1520 nm emission increases with temperature for both crystals. ⺠â¼850, â¼980 and â¼1230 nm emissions are also temperature dependent.
