Abstract
⺠CdxHg1âxTe structures are investigated for receiving a stimulated emission. ⺠The stimulated emission has been observed experimentally under optical pumping. ⺠The emission has been observed up to 2.5 μm wavelength at room temperature. ⺠The measured values of the gain in the active medium are very high.
