Abstract
⺠The effects of I, L, and LB on the optical properties of the DSVQW are investigated. ⺠The refractive index can be considerably modified and controlled by the L and LB. ⺠The optical absorption coefficient can be considerably modified by the L and LB. ⺠The absorption coefficient and refractive index are reduced, as I increases. ⺠The total absorption coefficient is strongly split up into two peaks with the L and LB.
