Abstract
⺠We have synthesized two novel inorganic borate phosphors (LiCaBO3: Pb2+ and LiCaBO3: Bi3+) for the first time. ⺠The phase of LiCaBO3 were determined using the powder XRD and FTIR. ⺠The photoluminescent properties of these phosphors were investigated using spectrofluorometer at room temperature. ⺠These phosphors emit in UV region. ⺠Consequently, they are promising phosphors for UV lamp phosphors.
