Abstract
⺠The density of states in a quantum well wire under tilted laser field is calculated. ⺠A closed-form expression was proposed for the laser dressed confinement potential. ⺠The energies and wave functions are obtained using a finite element method. ⺠Axial component of the laser field uniformly blueshifts the density of states. ⺠The transversal laser field non-uniformly modifies the subband levels.
