Abstract
⺠Absorption spectra of hesperitin bound HbA indicates ground state complex formation. ⺠Binding induces static quenching of intrinsic fluorescence of the tryptophan of HbA. ⺠Molecular docking and electrostatic surface potential calculations were performed. ⺠Contrasting binding modes of hesperitin compared to other flavonoids were observed.
