Abstract
⺠Topaz of Yono Shigar mine in Pakistan was irradiated with gammas of 60Co and 137Cs. ⺠Thermoluminescence (TL) glow curve of topaz revealed a stable peak at 250 °C. ⺠TL response versus dose behaviour was found to be linear within 10â2-102 Gy. ⺠Fading of TL response was quick just after gamma irradiation. ⺠Reproducibility of TL response varied â¼10% within 1st and 30th cycles of reuse.
