Abstract
⺠A new effective fluorescent sensor based on rhodamine was developed to detect Cu2+. ⺠The sensor exhibited fast response, good selectivity at physiological pH condition. ⺠The sensor was an effective intracellular Cu2+ ion imaging agent.
