Abstract
⺠Efficient spectral selection is obtained in ErQ3-based distributed feedback cavity. âºC-band emission from 4f-4f Er transition is selected for telecommunications. ⺠Nanometrically tunable cavities are cheaply made by X-ray interference lithography. ⺠ErQ3 purity is preserved on mm2 areas when deposited by vacuum thermal evaporation.
