Abstract
⺠NAE12-4-12 is a newly synthesized cationic gemini surfactant. ⺠It effectively reduces intrinsic fluorescence of BSA through static quenching. ⺠Binding constant of NAE12-4-12-BSA decreases with rising temperature. ⺠Distance between BSA and NAE12-4-12 diminishes with NAE12-4-12 concentration. ⺠Content of α-helix of BAS decreases while those of other structures rise up.
