Abstract
► Effects of La3+ on photoluminescence of (Mg, Mn)(Y, Ce, La)4Si3O13 reported. ► On increasing the La3+ concentration, the emission intensity of Ce3+ ions decreased. ► Color temperature changed from warm white to cool white with La3+ amounts.
