Abstract
⺠The intensity and radiative parameters are obtained applying the Judd-Ofelt theory. ⺠Effect of Nd3+ concentration on luminescence and decay times has been discussed. ⺠Major laser transition for Nd3+ ion in LBTAFNd glasses is 4F3/2â4I11/2 (1.07 μm). ⺠The LBTAFNd05 glass is a suitable candidate for 1.07 μm laser applications.
