Abstract
⺠Resonance dipole-dipole interaction of Mn2+-ions in Cd1âxMnxTe is a cause of an energy transfer and a quenching. ⺠4T1- and 4T2-states' overlapping results in selective-, nonselective- or mixed excitation depending on excitation energy. ⺠Relative oscillator strength of 4T1-state is 0.001. ⺠Energies of 4T1- and 4T2-states are weakly correlated. ⺠Temperature rise results in a limitation of the quenching rate and a diminution of luminescence inhomogeneous broadening.
