Abstract
► Red fluorophores may therefore chemiluminescence more intensely than other commonly chemiluminophores and emits light in longer wavelengths. ► Hypericin from St. John's wort (hypericum perforatum) as natural red fluorophore for peroxyoxalate chemiluminescence was introduced. ► Quenching effect of two antioxidant, quercetin and β-carotene on it system was also investigated. ► The non linear least-squares curve fitting program KINFIT was applied to study of CL kinetic parameters.
