Abstract
⺠At the low water to surfactant ratio (W), very small grain size was obtained. ⺠At W=10, the obtained particles were highly homogenous. ⺠Enhanced PL emission was obtained using AOT as a surfactant. ⺠ZnO nanoparticles were obtained from ZnS:Mn2+ by heat treatment.
