Abstract
⺠This article presents a method to elaborate a nanostructured optical fiber, it means a fiber which present a core constituted of nanocrystals dispersed in an amorphous matrix by using a chemical method. ⺠The second aim of this work is the study of the luminescence properties of an ytterbium doped fiber and to observe the influence of the nanostructure on the luminescence behavior of an active ion which present a simple energetic diagram, in terms of emission spectra and lifetimes measurements. ⺠The third objective is to study the luminescence properties of an erbium doped fiber to observe the influence of the nanocrystals, but also to take a special care in the study of the visible emissions.
