Abstract
⺠Ba3Y2WO9: Eu3+ ceramics were prepared by solid state reaction method. ⺠Effect of temperature and concentration on luminescence of Eu3+ ions has been studied. ⺠PL spectra of 5 mol% of Eu3+: Ba3Y2WO9 ceramics calcined at 1000 °C have shown an intense red emission. ⺠It is suggested that these ceramic powders are brightly luminescent and are used as novel optical materials.
