Abstract
► Ce-doped LaSrAl2O5 yellow phosphor with fine size (∼2 μm) for LED application. ► Optimal Ce content and critical distance are 1%  mol of La and 29 Å, respectively. ► Luminescence quenching occurs via dipole-dipole interaction.
