Abstract
⺠Study of aattenuation of sunlight through different rock surfaces. ⺠Study of the thermoluminescence (TL) or Optical stimulated luminescence (OSL) residuals as a function of depth. ⺠A Cumulative Log-Normal Distribution fitting provides the most satisfactory modeling for marbles, marble schists and granites. ⺠The new model (Cummulative Log-Norm Fitting) is applied on available data and age determination tests.
