Abstract
												⺠Uniform and crack free Lu2O3:(Eu,Pr) films were prepared by the Pechini sol-gel method. ⺠The Lu2O3:(Eu,Pr) films are presented to be polycrystalline with an average grain size of about 30 nm. ⺠The afterglow and decay time of Lu2O3:5 mol% Eu films can be decreased by co-doping Pr3+. ⺠The mechanism of the afterglow reducing by Pr3+ is suggested to be non-radiative quenching.
