Abstract
⺠Glass and glass-ceramics were formed as a function of heat treatment. ⺠Heat treatment induced structural rearrangement that depends on Nd2O3 concentration. ⺠Structural rearrangement of the glasses was detected by Raman and AFM measurements. ⺠Judd Ofelt theory show changes in the stimulated emission cross section and rigidity of the samples.
