Abstract
⺠We present simulations of time-resolved photoluminescence experiments in α-Al2O3:C. ⺠Two different versions of the model are used to simulate thermal quenching effects. ⺠Both models describe luminescence lifetime and luminescence intensity. ⺠Differences between the two models are found for TL, OSL and TSC behaviors. ⺠Results support Mott-Seitz mechanism of thermal quenching.
