Abstract
The spectroscopic properties of Pr3+-doped LaAlO3 mono crystal were investigated at various temperatures. Absorption, emission, excitation and lifetime measurements were performed and discussed in the framework of the Judd-Ofelt approach. The visible emission is dominated by the 3P0â3H4 ,3H6 ,3F2 transitions. The quantum efficiency of the 3P0 emission is almost one. Emission cross-sections of these transitions were calculated.
